MIDI sync problems.....HELP!!!!!

anyone ever had or heard of midi sync problems when syncing up to software programs like pro tools??? my issue is this: when i'm recording into pro tools, it syncs up for a while, but after that....i'm trouble shooting for the rest of the night. it just won't sync up or something with the midi clock...it starts late. NOW.....kats i work with have told me that they didn't have this problem when using their mpc's on the same pro tools system at the same studio. they say it's my mpc. something about a "midi card" being loose or messed up. IS THIS POSSIBLE??? how can i remedy this problem?????

I'm also havin' problems synchronising my mpc with cubase!! I've been fukkin' around with this for the last few weeks and just can't get my shyt right... In the beginning it also syncs up for a while but after a minute or something it's completely off time...

whats up guys ,, dj (I cant say much about the pro tools .. I dont have one )what is set to master, The mpc or the software?.

if the software is set to master, make sure in the transport panel/sync set up- you will see on the bottom right of your window "SEND MIDI CLOCK"
make sure the port you select is your asio sound card and not the emulated version of it.


I dont know how you work but what I do is only make the basic beat with the mpc(8 bars) and record the beat into nuendo and after that I save my midi sequenc on zip from the mpc then shut it off. I arrange and develop the track in nuendo.I only use the mpc to lay down the feel for my track .

I have the mpc set to master (shoult I use it as slave?).
I normally produce a beat completely with my mpc; and now I wanna record each track into cubase to add compression and shyt...
