how do some of you do it?

and

if any body uses a keyboard to trigger is there a way to assign the pads to the keys in order like A-1 = C as in the first pad of the mpc to the lowest key on the keyboard

because i was trying to get all my drums on a scale on the keyboard
but the notes where like c=a2 c#=a4 d=b2 ect...

is there a note order on the mpc that coincides with the note order of a keyboard ?

You need to change some of the midi note numbers of the pads if you want them to run chromatically.

Organising samples is easiest if you can transfer all your samples to a computer & have them in folders.
However, say you have lots of different kicks & snares. I'd make one program that is each kick assigned to a different pad & another program with every snare etc. etc. That way when you are putting together a program specific to a new sequence, you can call up your kick program so all your kicks are in RAM. Now, go back to your new sequence's program & you can audition every kick to find the best one.
