if u havent thats part of the reason for snyc problems. when you check your midi device and midi beat clock your mpc should be an option. also in the pheripheals(sp) change midi slave to your mpc.

MidiDevice: check
MidiBeatClock: check

Peripheral Setting: I have no clue what is appropriate here.

I don't know what the following are:
Command8
HUI
MotorMix

yeah i definitely need to do some reading, but I'm not sure where to start.
Not being familiar with all the relevant terminology makes it difficult, but gotta start somewheres...

New Question:

I can trigger the Komplete 5 stuff when I open them on their own.

But,

When I open them in Pro Tools, I can't find the Audio/Midi Settings that enable MPC to trigger.

I do not understand.

Please Help.

Too Many Hours...

I have a feeling that when you open the vst pluggin (for example battery3) on it's own... it is set to midi channel 1 automatically. but pro-tools might not be assigning midi channel 1 to that pluggin when it is hosted as vst. see if you can make some adjustments on the pluggin when it is open in protools or what ever you are using.

okay i'll look into that. it's gotta be in pro tools cuz the vst (rta) offfers no adjustments when opened within protools.
