I am a musician in a church, i dont always have a bass and or drummer to accompany me. What I am wanting to do is, midi my motif to the mpc. So that I can crreate a drum track with the mpc. Then move over to the motif and finish and complete the track with say bass and horns and so on. Complete and finish that track and save it. want to be able to call that song up to accompany me in real time play. I usally have both pieces with me so its not a problem to use both where ever I go. I hope someone can HELP me. Look forward to hearing from u.....

Thanks everyone for the assistance that I received thus far. I will look at the websites and suggests that was give. But what I was really hopeing for was for someone to kinda write it out. For example midi out the ? to the midi in of the ?, ur setting should be ?. Something like that. Well if someone can do that it would be a great help. But I am looking the info already given have a great one, thanks again.

listen, you probably have a few things you want to accomplish with your gear. these types of machines have a few different things they can do and they probably have a few different methods that they can be rigged up.

the links that lampdog posted are the virtual copies of the manuals... the advantage to those is that within them you can search for key words.

they will have "maps" (diagrams) showing every possible way to wire the devices up to other devices. we could easily go in the manuals and post those pics in here, except you will probably wind up back here to re-look tem over when the time comes anyways...

just remember, midi out from one device goes to the midi in on the next device (never midi in to midi in) also, you can run the midi out from the keyboard to the mpc and the midi out from the mpc to the keyboard both at the same time...

Nobody is going to hold your hand here. If you want to use the gear you purchased in the way you want, you will have to read the manual(s). Maybe try asking god for assistance. midi out the headphones to the midi in of the sandwich.

Listen mr. fung45 never asked for anyone to hold my hand, futher more no one wants to read cynical messages from the likes of u. if u took the time to read the thread I also infomed all who replied thanks for the information as well as I would be reading the manuals. so if this thread bothered u the bigger thing would be just to move on to the next one. So hope u have a BLESSED DAY, and u can keep ur headphones and sandwich. :)
