Iomega card reader connected with the PC?

Hey can i connect my pc with the iomega zip 100?
My PC do have a scsi-output, i have windows XP with sp 2..
if yes, what do need know before i try it?..
Im a bit afraid for destroying something

You would need one of two things.

a.) A SCSI expansion card for your PC. You fit this inside your PC usually in a PCI slot, and it will add a SCSI contact on the backpanel of your box. Tgese can be had fairly cheap from Ebay for example.

b.) Get a USB zip drive instead, again Ebay is yoru friend when trying to find one. Or a parallel zip drive for that matter, if your computer is equipped with one. The SCSI ones are not the only ones out there.

also, you might need to install the thing from iomega to make it work on winxp if it is parallel.

p.s.

parallel iomega zip 250's dont work with vista.
