Faceplate not staying down properly

Yo I got an MPC 2000xl. And the friggin faceplate doesn't stay down. Ive heard
this can be a problem with the xl's. Does anyone have any remedies, or an
extra faceplate they can sell me. The grey one.

The metal breacket that the plastic screws to.... attached to the faceplate..... it gets bent/tweaked from people hanging on it,
fuggin on it, doin pull ups on it, throwing it across the room when they can't play without quantize on, etc etc

So, take it off, unscrew the plastic from the frame, straigten it out, and put it back together.

Everytime I got one with this issue, straightening the frame solved it.
