MPC 2k turning ON and OFF with pads?

Hi. Dont know how to explane, but i will try. How to turn on and off sound when playing live and not using the F3 button for switching ON/OFF on my MPC 2000. So i want to switch sounds ON/OF on my 16 pads while song is playing.

you can silence tracks while the sequence been played.go to TRACK on/off in the MAIN SCREEN and hit OPEN WINDOW,your tracks will be shown assigned to the pads.hit to cancel or aim....
