Tap Tempo Playing an unwanted note

I have a note in a completely different program from the Track I'm in, yet when I hold down tap tempo it repeates the note as if I were pressing it. Anyone had this problem? I think it may have to do with the fact that instead of deleting the sound from my program, I saved a sound in the place of it? (i went through my pads, found a sound that I didnt need on the program, went into my CF card and found a sound I wanted, and placed the new sound on the pad of the old sound.) but that still doesnt explain why a sound would play when I hold tap tempo - I am not pressing any pads and as far as I can tell there are no pads stuck

I assume I could just go into trim, find the sound thats playing and delete it......but I really just want to know if anyone has ever experienced this and how did you fix it? Is there an explanation for it?
