I have an all black MPC1000, which includes black pads, black dials and buttons ; also has offical Akai 126 meg max ram upgrade installed.
The unit is just turning fouteen months old now and is in near perfect condition.
I am toying with the idea of possibly swapping it directly for an MPC2000XL, although the 2000XL would need to be in pristine condition and well looked after, including also a scsi drive and possibly a good sample library via disks to go with it.
My unit will possibly generate around the £550/600 mark on Ebay, if I went that route. However, I would be willing to do a direct swap if the 2000XL on offer covers the above spec.
