Where's The Technical Wizard Who Could Help Me ?!?!!

.....i got the 2000xl..........a computer with an external Extigy soundcard....
........plus CoolEdit Pro to record with...........


............my problem is with the CABLES..........in order to HEAR the sounds, I have to pull the 'audio out' cables slightly out the jack, and even then, it doesnt fully send the signal LOUD..........i had this problem before i bought the new sound card, so its not the computer....its either, im using the wrong cables, or i got bad luck and own a **** up mpc..........

...if this dont make sense ,, believe me, i UNDERSTAND,,,,,,,,,,

.......so someone tell me whats the deal........will i ever get this shit right?
...i got the beatmaking down......i just cant figure out this technical issue.....

sounds like you are using stereo cables in a mono jack, or balanced (trs) jacks in an unbalanced socket.
