Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

got a friend that wants to sell me his 2000xl and he said that it only plays mono. he did say that it may be him and how he has it setup. are there any known issues with the xl"s playing in mono only?

Did you check out the xl yourself and see what's up with it, personally?
Load some stereo samples into it, go through the mixer and adjust some stuff, try out some stuff that
requires stereo use, don't just guess and then have us guessing, lol. Let us knwo what you actually find.
