custom sample cd

ok....correct me if I'm wrong. I have a MPC2000xl and a scsi cd rom drive. My cd rom drive works good, and I have a few sample cds already created by akai. Ok.....followin me? Now I have about 15 gigs of sound on my laptop. I don't have time to sample all of these individually. What I wanna do is. Make my own cd with the sounds I have on my laptop. So I checked out some forums and I have came to the conclusion that I must take one of those professionally made akai sample cds and burn the disk image.....right?ok so...by burning the disk image am I copying the akai format? ok so...after I've gotten that how do I take all of those sounds on my laptop put it on a blank cd which I can format for akai. This is simple and theres a few posts just like this but before I can get the answer somebody starts being an A$$ and the question never gets answered. So if theres anyone out here that can help me out I'd apreciate it. And yes there's a chance I could have found the answer with out posting this topic...so save yourself some finger power and don't be an A$$....besides this is what this site is for.....AMEN

but i find zip drive is the cheapest and effective way of transfering the drums from one computer to the other
thats how i do it and it cost me nothing at all
got 2 zip drives one for my mpc one for my pc ... 60 bucks and another 20 bucks for zip disks
and there ya go
all set.. no burning or nothing

This was not a simple matter, not in the manual ya dig.

In windows xp, you can just drag and drop the wav files onto the cd icon in my computer, windows will have files ready to be written to cd, this will create standard iso 9660 data cd, that cd will be readable by the 2kxl.. No special burning software/techniques needed at all.

yo Lamp i did the drag and drop before and it didnt work...should i format the disk or something or just str8 drag and drop ?
