Are screen issues as common on the 2kxl mcd?

I'm considering getting a MPC 2000xl and would like to know are screen issues as common on this model as they are on the basic 2kxl and 2k classics? If so I might just hold out and get a 2500.

Yes, but they were the last ones made I believe, so the screens should be newer than the older models, but that doesn't mean that you won't get lines eventually
