Tried with the partition but I guess it just doesn't like the LEXAR 4GB.

Ive been using DANE-ELEC cards and they work fine for me. They are 2 gig cards, but partitioned to 1 gig by the mpc. Thanks for the tip Lamp on re partitioning. Ive just been good with 1 gig as opposed to zip! lol

yo this might be a dumb question but pretty please bare with me here.
if i have a compact flash to IDE adaptor which is not hot swappable due to the IDE part right.
but
have it plugged into a IDE to SCSI bridge that is ATAPI would that make it then hot swapable?
I only ask as i have to buy a bridge anyway (damn classic 2k's and their funky internals) but before i purchase the bridge I thought I'd check that signal flow out.
cf card -> CF to IDE -> IDE to SCSI ATAPI Bridge -> MPC = hot swap?
your thoughts appreciated.
