If you have the optional effects board installed go right to the "Filter" page. If you do not have the effects board then you can use the built in filtering to remove frequencies above what you're trying to bring out. Go to the "Program" page and adjust the "Filter" parameter.
Hi, thanks for the reply, I've never used filters on my MPC2000 so I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that. I do have the effects board installed, however it didn't come with a manual and I don't see a Filter screen anywhere. On the Program page I see Filter under the PARAMS tab and it has two parameters that can be adjusted, Frequency and Resonance. I should specify that I have an MPC2000 not the XL. Any help is appreciated, Thanks
