How come when I'm recording a beat it sounds so smooth and on time but once it loops and plays back it hella off beat. Its not like the way I created it before it looped. Its really frustrating. Am I doing something wrong?

chop smaller..

the pre-quantization era of music used live recording ... hence human timing issues.... hence your looping issues, chop your samples smaller
