OS 1.20 on 2000XL via CD/SCSI or internal floppy???

How do I be able to get 1.20 os on my 2000xl?
I got an internal floppydrive and an HD & a CD-Rom, both conneted via SCSI.
Is there any explanation/tut or something which tells me how to install the os on my mpc?

A better question: why in the world would you want to put os 1.20 on your XL?

and i doubt your floppy is connected by scsi.. but floppy is the best route.

i got in mind that this version ables you to open and close application like "16tabs" or "full level" on an off switching in realtime, while a sequence is playing. in the moment my old OS does not allow me something like this, which makes it hard to use it for exapmple live on stage to create some drumloops from scratch etc.

so how am i be able to get the os on the mpc? never had done this before.
isn´t it possible to install it via cd-rom/SCSI ?

?? without 1.20 i wouldn't be able to use my cardreader

DJ JEFF, that is true but only because you bought an IDE cardreader. Those require 1.20 but are limited to 1GB of CF card storage. If you buy our CF-CARD SCSI card reader and keep 1.14, you can use CF cards up to 16GB. Being able to use CF cards larger than 1GB becomes important when you consider that these card reader drives are not hotswappable. But if you are working with an 8GB or 16GB CF card, the need for hotswapping is pretty much gone.

import taxes and shipping costs are holding me back from ordering from the US..when the euro hits stronger again i´ll def consider. right now i´m happy with 1gb storage per card.

DJ JEFF, I hear you and I agree that the 1GB IDE CF card option is a fine choice for many people. My intent in posting this information about the CF-CARD, 1.14 and our Card reader vs their Card reader is just to get the information out there.

When it comes time for someone to buy a card reader drive for their MPC2000 Classic or MPC2000XL, I believe they should have access to all the information about all the options. They may choose to buy our CF-CARD drive (with the ability to use CF cards up to 16GB in capacity) or they may choose to buy another vendor's IDE card reader (with the ability to use CF cards up to 1GB in capacity and no more) and either choice is cool, as long as they had the information needed to make an informed decision. Information is Power!
