someone gotta help my get my....................

speakers hooked up, this has gotta be the easiest thing in the world but mine fo some reason just aint wanna work. I got two JBL studio monitors, each got a power supply cord and then a single RCA plug on each, one red on one and a white on the other, then they come together on the other end with RCA plugs also, so i put the end that goes into the MPC into two RCA to 1/4 inch stereo jacks and have those in my stereo outs.....................is this correct and if so why the flizzuck and they workin?

yep thats correct. could it be that the connectors from rca to 1/4 inch are faulty?

i just bought them thangs yest. so i doubt it

hmm, are the MPC stereo outs muted?
or maybe the speakers are broken, take em back.
