simple question

i just got a 2000xl and i have been able to load the stock drum samples that it came with...whenevr i hit a pad and hold it there it does a sort of drum roll with that specific sound...can i turn this off? thanks

the pad could be set to loop (probably not), but as you just got the mpc you are probably getting double hits.
happens to most people at first.
with time you will learn exactly how to hit the pad so you only trigger it once, or get the doubles for rolls on demand. for now experiment with hitting the pads either harder or not as hard until you get the feel for it.

thanks brain...thats just what i thought..i can get it so it triggers only once..but when i hit it and hold the pad...thats when it doubles up..thanks for the response...i will have more questions in the future...peace
