Hi MPC2000 guru's!

I am using my mpc2k now for over 4 years and suddenly i realised, why not use the 8 outs and send drums in mono to my daw. Everything is working perfect..

Only thing i cant seem to nake it work is when assigning sounds to the pads is to preview the samples, it only works when a cable is connected to the stereo outs.. When the sound is assigned to the pads en set up in the mixer to indiidual outs i do hear the sample.

Anyone knows if this is possible? Been digging in the manual.. , no succes.

Previewing sounds and trim mode audio outputs are routed to the stereo outs and the headphone jack only, so you still have to have those connected to something. * outs are still awesome though.

yeah head phones are your best bet right now.
how i assign 8outs is by creating 8 record enabled tracks in my DAW (Logic). once they are assigned in my MPC then ill be able to hear them through my DAW. be careful to distinguish the two sound sources on your interface. one - monitoring your beat from your MPC, which would just be the stereo outs and two - whats actually coming out of your 8 outs - DAW. overall i feel the 8 assignable outs are a truly awesome feature, major time saver, however, the task just requires repetition and organization.

good luck!
