Event gets added by itself in step edit

Very often when I'm in step edit doing whatever, and all of a sudden an event appears at the step that I'm working on: "Control change: release time" and "control change: 26" (or another number). I have a synth on (microkorg), I'm pretty sure that triggers it? All I know is it's annoying as hell and it can happen several times in a minute. Any ideas what I could to prevent this?

Main Menu -> move cursor to the midi channel number(in case of the XL its the DRUM/MIDI field) and hit open window -> turn on midi filter and chang the NOTE field to the CC number you want to filter. This allows to set a filter for 1 CC message only- So if there is still unwanted stuff the MPC receives you should read the manual of the synth and try to find out if theres a way to stop sending cc messages.
