Ram question

Does adding extra ram speed up the 2kxl's OS or does it only increases sample time? Just curious to know cause it does on computers...

Technically adding RAM to a computer doesn't speed up the thing anymore it does a MPC. Adding ram just allows you to store more information in the RAM which is faster to read then reading it from the harddrive.

If you wanna speed up your OS, get a faster disk drive. That will shorten load time by a lot. The jump from 3.5" floppy to zip is great, zip to CF card is less noticeable, but still faster (and quieter).

You might have known that already, in which case ignore me. I hate it when people explain things to me that I already knew, and I'd hate to be "that guy."
