Note Variation - Sequences

In a recorded sequence, is it possible to have several note variation types recorded or only one?
ie. I record a pad sequence with tuning note varation. Can I then overdub an extra pass of filter note variation onto the same track? etc..

From looking at it in step edit I'm guessing one variation type per note is all i get to play with.
