Whatz good people!
I recently added another 2000XL to my arsenal and it looks like I might have to change the pad sensors even though the unit is in MINT condition. Here's the problem and I am hoping someone can enlighten me as it is the first time I run into this issue.
SOME PADS DO NOT WORK so here's what I have done so far:
-I have opened it, checked the sensors, checked the ribbon, cleaned the connections... Looks ok.
-I checked the pad check menu, and for some pads, you can tell something's up because the after touch goes all over the place, even when my finger is still on the pad.
-Finally, I checked everything under PARAMS, and it's a OK (velocity modulation on a per pad per program basis, attack, etc...)
Thanks for the help guys!
PS: Used the "search" function.... Here's one last thing I will try tonight: reseat RAM (if if that doesn't work, cop a new sheet of sensors)
UPDATE: After some thorough investigating, I came to the conclusion that the sensors sheet is somewhat faulty. D@mnnnnn there goes another $90!! lol
