MPC Editor save program to and file open problem

Hello,
I'm sort of confused and having a problem with opening a saved mpc editor file on my pc.... I can save and export to my selected drive just fine, but my confusion is when i re open a saved mpc editor program the samples i allocated to the pads are no longer there... Am i missing something?

did you export the program and the sounds to a folder?

hey thanks for the reply... yes i choose export program and samples and when i open the program on my pc the file and file name is there but not the samples...

I've found it easiest to make a folder for the individual program and samples and export them to that specific folder

when I don't make a folder prior to exporting, the samples just get exported as individual scattered files and the same thing you are mentioning will happen.


I save em on a iomega zip 100 drive hooked via usb so now just make a new folder with a kit name prior to exporting then all the sounds and the .pgm is there
