Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

What's up,
I have a multi card reader in my xl and looking to get a card reader for my Mac so that I can chop, sample, etc on the desktop and simply transfer the cf to the xl. I am also looking for something similar to the mpc editor software for make so that I can drag and drop sample onto pads (on the computer) save the program to the cf then be able to load on the xl. Is this possible? And any tips on a good reader? Someone told me about Mac editor software but I'm on my phone and can't remember the name of it. If anyone knows please let me know.
Thanks
O

years ago i bought a usb card reader on Amazon for like 47 cents. Works like a charm. They are super small, compact, and cheap. I would imagine you wont spend more than like 5 dollars. They prob have them everywhere too. (bestbuy, frys, walmart, online, ect).

There is a program called RS-16X for the Mac. It used to be called MPC Pgm Maker and I've heard good things about it. I don't know if you can do the drag-and-drop thing you are asking about - maybe someone like zuesmajor will drop by and tell you more about the capabilities, as I know he uses it.

We have a USB CF card reader available for $10.00 including shipping and it will work with PC or Mac. You can see it here:
