why does it loop?

first and foremost thanx for all the help love this fourm been checkin this site out for a minute finally broke down and registered!!

ok this is not really a serious problem but its annoying as hell !!!
i have and mpc 2000xl op system 1.4 ... every time i improt drumz to my to the mp they end up as a loops and i have to go into the trim mode and manualy turn the loop off on every drum !! even if i use the mpc editor pg still same result ... am i doin this the hard way does n e body have a fix to this is there a function that loops the sounds you bring into the mp that im missing

i was thinkin it might b the 1.4 op system??? which im gunna upgrade soon as i get my cf drive in

prob a simple thing im missin but if n e body knows wuts up holla at me

I'm guessing the wav files already had a sustain loop set.

Are these loops you made yourself? What wav editor did you use?

i was thinkin it might b in the audio too but every wav .... thats kinda crazy,,,,

the files im usng are just drum hits like kiks .. snares .. hi hats the usualy not an actually drum loop tho ... when i update the op system ill post if it changes n e thing

I doubt the OP system would have n e thing to do with it. I bet it's exactly what happyhour set. I had this happen with a drum kit myself. Very annoying, but not the end of the world.
