All pads are bad in mpc 2000xl

I bought on ebay used mpc 2000xl. When i tested it turned out that the pads are not responding. When i told about problem to seller he told me that when he was sending mpc everything was ok and if i want i can send it back to them and they will check it fr me.
So now i don't know what to do sending it back will cost me o lot of money (form Poland to UK). I dont know what is the problem with this pads, maybe it is something that can be easily fixed.
I read that when the sensors are broken usually only some poads are not working so i wonder if it is something else.
If anybody know what could possibly be the problem i would be glad to hear the resolution.

I think that during shipping, the cable came loose... that is possible. You should open it up and make sure the cables are seated properly.

First UNPLUG IT!

Before you do any changes to ya MPC you might want to give this a try....
*At the Main Screen hit SHIFT + 5
*Then hit SHIFT + F1

which should bring you to the "PADCK" screen
