Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

hey what's up er'body i got the mp and my e-mu pk6 synth(which i hardly use) but it has effects if i have a sound on my mp can i add effects from my pk6 to the sound and dump it back on the mp?if so how can i accomplish this any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't think so. Does the Proteus have any audio-inputs? If it has sampling-capabilities, then maybe you could dump stuff from your MP into it, and then resample 'em back, but I remember with the old rack-mount proteus you couldn't.

How's that keyboard sound? I bet its got some nice bass sounds...

yeah the basses are dope but i prefer using the mp for my bass
that synth is more for dance electronic music but it got some tight basses

if you had a mixer you could send the audio efx send of the mixer (w the proteus hooked up to it as the thing being "sent") to the sample in of the mpc, then hit play on the proteus and sample the sound with the effects off of it, into the mpc. then chop it up and make it a sound(s).
