Counter Off-beat

Hey,

I was playing in some drums with the pads and I noticed a trend that after I put the same sounds to different pads on a bank, the counter that plays before recording started acting funny. I'm not 100% sure but it sounds like it's adding half a beat to the counter and throwing all my drums off. The hi-hats start late, the snare sounds early, it's really throwing me off. I was earlier playing in patterns and they sounded fine, but I erased them and after adding the same sounds to diff. pads everything just sounds off. That might not have to do with what's going wrong but it's the only thing I can think of that I've changed.

Has anybody encountered this problem before?

The only thing I can think of is that you changed the timing without knowing it. If you move from 1/8th to 1/16th there is a big difference in timing. Try making the sequence with the timing turned off and see if that helps.
