NEED SOME HELP

what up?..
i recently fell into some cash and instead of blowin it all on weed,beer and other useless shit i decided toinvest it into my music and buy an MPC. Im pretty new 2 production and i use fruity loops..its ok but i wanted and mpc 2 make some more professional shit. anyway here are my quaestions.

1.Will i need anything besides the mpc?. right now all i have is my sony stereo and this piece of shit computer..Lol will i need anything else?..or can i jus plug my mpc into my stereo? i intend 2 buy a mixer and amp and all that one day but for now all i have is $1200 so i can only afford the mpc2000xl w/tha built in zip drive. and i have NO other equipment.

2.can i use the mpc 2 sample stuff from other things like a turntable?..tv?..etc or will i need 2 buy other equipment 2 do thi?

3. can i manipulate samples like slow them down, speed them up, change the length and pitch and all that stuff?

4.will i be able 2 make my beats and transfer them 2 my computer 2 burn them?..or will i need more eqipment?

Nah... not right now. Alot of people use the MPC alone including myself (more often than not). I think its better to start off with one piece of gear anyway. This allows you to learn your equipment, and use it to the fullest. I have folks callin me askin simple questions that they could've easily figured out themselves, but they den bought a shit load of equipment and never took the time to learn how to use ONE fully.

Yup. But to sample from a turntable you'd need to hook it up to something that has a Phono input... you can't hook it directly to the MPC.

Yup. all'at.

Yeah. But later on down the line you may want to add stuff to the computer for quality sake. I aint the most knowledgeable cat when it comes to computers.

You can hook the MP up to the AUX input on your stereo. Aside from cables and/or adaptors you should be set for the moment. A mixer isn't totally necessary until you expand your equipment. But the MP is definately the place to start. The techniques you'll learn there can easily be applied to other equipment.
