cool edit pro help fast please....!!

i got a mpc 2000 and i want to put the songs together in cool edit pro but it just aint happenin for me! the intro, verse, ect. have no sounds to it and the sounds i save sounds nothin like they do in the mpc. what do i have to do, do i have to change the format of the disk when i use it in the computer or what!? thanks in advance to all the help

Get away from the zip disk and try to midi all your sounds in to C.E.(maybe)

forget cool edit pro altogether. your mpc is more versatile without it.

Forget that man,keep cool edit because you still need some type of program so you can save and burn to disk.Just try to midi all of your data into Cool Edit.

Isn't cool edit just a recorder & audio editor & not any form of midi sequencer? Connect the audio outs of your MPC to the ins of your soundcard. Set cool edit to record audio then play your MPC...... you get your MPC recorded as a long audio file & you can record other stuff over it............or have I misunderstood what is the problem???

yeah its a multitrack and a edtior which kicks the piss outta the mpc's trim. U have to set it up to record and just record from ur pcs inputs.

i dont think c.e accepts midi sample dump. if u got the 2000 try converting the snd's to wav. them loadingthem into coool edit

converting snd to wav......you do that it the MPC. When you save a sample to zip or floppy, you get the option to save in either format.

finally got it, i just hooked the mpc to the sound card and record it into cool edit, thanks for all the help.

oh i was juss about to say that, but u beat me there. but i have my mpc going into my mixer then from my mixer to the laptop. cep is wass happenin. cant live witout it
