Can anyone tell me if it's possible to load samples from one zip disk and use another zip for different sounds without losing what I started from disk one. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure I completely understand your question, but yes you can load sounds from multiple zips into your mpc but all the loaded sounds have to have different names for them not to overwrite eachother.

What Pt3r, and... whenever you load sounds into the mpc (from zip, floppy, hd, whatever) they all get stored in the ram. So yeah, you can load as many sounds as your ram will allow from as many sources as you want. And like pt3r said, if you try to load a sound that has the same name as a sound already in the mpc, it'll tell you and ask if you want to replace the sound already in the mp with the one on the disk.
