How do I convert tracks from my MPC to my laptop?

Hi Guys,

My tracks are stuck on CF cards! Know how to get em off?

I have a Mac Book Pro laptop. No music software (apart from garage band).
I'm basically trying to put the tracks onto an audio cd to hand out to people.

I have a Card Reader that converts the CF card to USB. However, the songs show up on the computer as a folder. I can get the individual sounds (from the folder) to play on Garage Band but not all sounds together as it's been arranged on the MPC.

I'd appreciate some suggestions if you have any dudes

Forgot to say, I'm using an MPC 2000xl...if that makes a difference...

You're going to have to arrange the sounds in the PGM file into whatever GarageBand uses as a sampler.

Converting the sounds to WAV would probably help too

Why not just play the tracks on the MPC and record the outputs into whatever computer program you use for digital recording? That is pretty much the only way you will get the full tracks to sound right. Record the entire song to computer and burn audio CDs from it.
