display pixelized with new cf card reader

hey folks,

Im tryin to get a cf card reader in my mpc2000xl to work, but it seems like ur the only ones who can help me.

The jumper is set to master and when I connect it to my mpc, everything looks crazy : the pixels of the mpc are very unsorted.I used a standart IDE cable, and i had to build a new hole into it because there was some plastic, where a pin is at the mpc..... I tried to put the cable the other way round, but that doesnt work either.
The jumper ist set to master.

Read the whole thread and follow links referred within.

I would say based on what you are experiencing ... ( and my experience ); that your newly acquired card reader is not fully compatible with an MPC2000XL.

Good luck resolving this issue.

IE: seek a compatible card reader.
