Is my MCD Drive cracked?

Hi,

While I was carrying my Mpc 2000xl without no protection, I stumbled and unfortunately I fell to the ground and hit the corner of (Cf card plugged) mpc.
The front panel of it cracked and then started to swing a little bit.
So I can't record to the card but I can use all voices and beats and I can send them to the pads before that I recorded.


My question is 'Do I need a new driver or this problem can be solve by a different,easier way? 'cause I live in Turkey and there is no mpc stuff dealer in here'

yes it is cracked, you need to buy the special mpc2000xl glue.jk

i would open her up and have a good look at the mcd to see what the damage is. if your lucky the cable just became loose

you can use a JAZ DRIVE thru the scsi port on the back of the mpc.
i have two jaz drives and a bunch of 2gb disks which i use for backup and never had a problem with either of them.
