How do i connect a Korg M3 to a MPC2000XL and how do i makea beat using both at one time?

you gonna need to buy a flux capacitor and some wires

i am not sure what a korg m3 is.

notice there are 1/4" jacks on both machines...that is one way to connect them together. you can sample the korg m3 and make a beat with that.

notice also there are midi ports on both machines. voila, yet another way to connect them. you can trigger the mpc using the korg or trigger the korg using the mpc...or both.

at this point though you have homework to do...find the mpc manual, and read it (it doesn't take long, and it's very good). then do the same with the korg m3, or at least use it to look up parts that you need.

asking 'how do i make a beat' in here is like walking into a library and asking 'how do i write a book'. congratulations on getting into this, but really save yourself the trouble and snide remarks (good one), and try and try and try yourself.
read the manual, and look up any terms you don't understand. the internet isn't going to make the beat for you and could probably just frustrate you into wanting to quit.
