Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Getting a lot of air sound when in record mode..sometimes even radio signals, when Im choppin up drums its real noticeable,thinking it's my dj mixer........Any thoughts

its your mixer. or your cables. or just your general environment. is the volume of the source set very low and you are jacking it way up in the mpc?

just sounds like a poor quality connection / broken gear somewhere along the way.

Mpc Full blast.......Cheap ass mixer so thats what im thinkin.

ideally you shouldnt want to run your mpc record knob at full blast, that just means you are boosting a noisy signal.

you should be sending the mpc the hottest signal you can and only boosting if you need to.

but yea the mixer is a likely culprit. crap cables too.
