MPC and ableton LIVE 2

hi there,
anybody has some experience with using a MPC connected to
an laptop using ableton LIVE?
i´m looking for a good setup for playing live. i thought the ableton
software could be the best for me to "extend" the small RAM of my MPC.
i hate to load new programs and samples on stage. so, i thought
this could be the best way...triggering longer samples with my MPC,
which are actually played by the laptop/ableton live.
anybody got an idea?

actually it would be a pretty nice live setup...you could flesh out beats/samples on your mpc and record them into live, loop them out, add effects/timestretch in addition to playing out ish on your mpc. just sync up midi with your laptop in addition to the mpc connected to your audio in and you'll be set.
