Out of no where a long time friend dropped off his MPC at my house yesterday and said I could have it . He's moving and going into full time DJing so he said he won't have time for beats and the unit is pretty banged up .
Besides the obvious cosmetic wear on it, I powered it up this morning and all that really seems to be wrong w/ it is that the main volume & record gain pots are shot (but work if I push them hard to the right while turning), a lot of the buttons/tact switches need to be pushed pretty hard to make them work and there's a couple lines in the screen .
At 1st I was thinking about just keeping it around for parts for my XL because I'm already gonna take the note slider out of it . But then I thought this thing might be worth resurrecting .
