what up guys
so, ive had my akai for the past 12+ years. all through that time ive used it sometimes an error screen came up and then a bunch of numbers all scrambled. this would only happen very sporadically and it would suck but i could move on. now, it is happening about everytime i use my akai. ive just wasted 6 hours of my time. on my 3rd go at a beat. whoop whoop.
does anyone know if this is a virus? bad ram? bad sounds im using? i know that adjusting pads in PARAMS while a beat is playing causes these errors to trigger, which is why i type in the numbers for decay, filter, tune, resonance, etc instead of using the data wheel. the last 5 years ive been using it alot and just wondering if any of you guys have this happen to you. if so does it happen often? know of any causes? and hopefully any fix?
thanks
