american to australian power?

do i need to change anything before i plug an american 110volt mpc into a australian 240volt powerpoint?

Definitely a step down transformer.
It will take the 240 volts AC and change it to the 110/115 volts AC that you will need for your MPC.

are you guys absolutely sure? i think the mpc has both power i just asked to clarify thanks heaps

Your MPC should show if it is dual voltage (110/240 VAC) on the rear. If it just shows the 120/115/110 VAC, then that is what you got to use to operate it or you'll risk burning up the transformer inside of it. I bought my MPC in the states but I have to use the step-down transformer over here in England to operate it.
