zip drive and mac os x

Im just about to buy a MPC 2000xl with internal zip. Just wondering if it will read wav files in folders set up on my emac (os x) and saved to zip on that. If not how can I move sample downloads from my mac to the mpc?

yes, it doen't matter the os (Win, Mac) as long as the files are .wav's (or akai .snd files) and the zip drive is formatted for PC it'll work. Mac's can read PC formatted stuff (at least they could back in like 96 when I was rocking the Performa), so its all gravy. If it dont work, floppy disk will or midi dump (sloooooowwwwww).
