New ways to create sounds ( looping small parts of samples)

I found this vid to be inspirational. I sampled a guitar sound from the radio today, then looped a small piece like he does in the video, and I got some sweet sounds.

Post any creative ways you make/distort/manipulate your sounds.

Well I dont wanna hate but thats the way people created sounds for the last 30 years. Nothing new.

Do you have any other cool ways to make sounds you would like to share? I am sure you have noticed that just about every post on here is a cry for help. I thought I would get some of your creative ideas out there. It was new to me hence the "New ways to create sounds" title. Maybe someone out there has something that you would like to try, something you have never seen before.

ill find a single ringing note w no drums and loop the middle so theres no clicks so i just have a note that lasts forever. then sixteen level. most people just use this for the bass but forget it works with other instruments. just watch out for sounds that are chords u wanna find single notes. save the chords for stabs. but yea w this technique u can basically compose with samples.
