CF card adapter

Does anyone know if this will work in my MPC 2000xl CF card reader?

I use a 1gb SanDisk SD card. This works after formatting. I purchased a second SanDisk SD but it was the adapter type.... this is where I had issues. I could save TO the card, but my pc wouldn't recognize it. So it's useless for transfering files. Idk if it's the adapter persay, that is the issue, but it's the only variable I can see between the two cards, same maker and size.... it's a pain to find that right card. good luck
