There are two ways to adjust the volume of an sample
1. in the mixer window value 0-100 , 2. in the trim screen under parameter settings value 0-200, which is essential sometimes
to make sounds louder even if there at 100 in the mixer.
But: Volume-settings in trim section will not be saved when you
just overwrite the existing program. You have to save the program again
not overwrite it to maintain the trim volume settings

The volume level in the TRIM screen is for the SND file, not the program.

Yes, just saving the program only saves the pad settings, etc - it has no bearing on the sample specific settings, hence choose 'replace same sounds'. Easy to forget though.

ok, you´re right it´s stored in the *.snd file, but *.snd files are normally stored in *.pgm files just wanted to tell, that sound parameters will not be stored when just overwriting prgs you have to replace same sounds as tutor said, or store in different location

No, again. Only the name of the snd file is stored in the pgm file. Snd and pgm are two separate types of files serving two different functions.

No, again. Changes in the trim screen are saved when the snd file is saved. It is happenstance that you can save snd files at the same time as a program file, which you have to explicitly perform.
