Card Reader Error " Not ReadY!!!!!"

So i fire up my MPC just like always, been using same cards for years no problems. First i use my SD card, wich always worked. Works fine untill i try to load some files on it. then i try to use my old compact flash that always works and then a brand new compact flash card, they all read "Not Ready" this is **** bullshit, i finally get some time to use my mpc and the **** friendly guy wont work. Ive been usin the thing for years with no problems.

What do you think is the issue?

Ive got the MPC2000xl MCD blue version.
