Im looking to get the MPC properly incorporated in the rest of my setup.
At the mo, the MPC is the master with midi to both my EMU E4's and a couple of synths.
I have a PC that is my sample editor for the EMU's and MPC but I wanna sequence from the PC sometimes.
This means that I need to access the emu's (midi out 1) and the synths (midi out 2) with the two midi in's. I have the midi thru setting set to pass though if MPC sequencer isn't being used (I forget the correct akai OS term).
An ideal situation would be sequenced drums on the MPC being driven by midi clock, sequence all external devices from the PC thou the MPC.
If I fancy not firing the PC up, the MPC is still wired as the master, making it a very versitile system.
Does any one work like that?
