CF reader mpc 2kxl

I've got a IDE zip drive in my MPC, installed by the last owner. It's kinda instable so I've ordered (kinda expensive but I was ignorant 2 years ago) an external SCSI hdd for my mpc but I more like a swappable device I think.. I saw a CF reader kit on the internet for 115 bucks. Is it worth the money?
