Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

reading on a 3000/60 thread you mentioned latency when the waveform is being created (on the 2000).

i press down and open window so as to zoom in on the waveform, if you scroll about and hit play there will be no latency -it does not speed up the creation of the waveform though.

-hmm, actually it appears that there is less latency -i dont think it eliminates it entirely, but defo works better.

try it and see what you think.

Thank you, but I know the trick already. It still requires to hit the orange button though. The latency does not bother me that much anyway, but it is a little bit annoying.

I agree. I try not to use (see) waveform on XL, when I chop samples on XL.
